LUCKNOW, Aug. 24 -- Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, the 2005-batch IAS officer of the Sikkim cadre who was posted as divisional commissioner, Moradabad, will not get another extension for his inter-cadre deputation to Uttar Pradesh. He went on leave after his deputation to Uttar Pradesh expired on August 14 earlier this month. Singh gained prominence during his tenure as district magistrate of Rampur, where he took action against senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. He came to Uttar Pradesh on an inter-cadre deputation in 2015 and has been given a record seven extensions.
