NHAI issues social media policyto monitor highway plaints
New Delhi, July 23 -- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Wednesday laid down a social media engagement and online reputation management framework to monitor daily online discussions on national highways and direct citizens to register complaints on NHAI's Rajmargyatra app instead of treating social media as the primary grievance redressal platform.
According to a circular, the policy formalises how officials should monitor, verify and respond to social media posts about national highways, including those concerning toll plazas, FASTag, accidents, potholes, maintenance and road safety....
