LUCKNOW, Sept. 22 -- After missing multiple deadlines, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has finally fixed September 24 as the date for the launch of its much-awaited Naimish Nagar and Varun Vihar housing schemes, said officials on Monday. The authority will launch both schemes on September 24 and open registrations for prospective buyers thereafter, said LDA secretary Sushil Pratap Singh. Chief minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to inaugurate the two schemes. LDA plans to hold the main programme at the Varun Vihar site, from where officials expect the CM to launch both projects. Ahead of the event, the traffic department and other departments concerned will conduct a joint survey of the area on Tuesday to assess traffic movement and make arrangements for the programme. LDA also plans to use the event to lay the foundation stones for five high-rise apartment projects including Lake View Apartment, Park View Apartment, Aishbagh Square, Aditi Apartment and Vageshwari Apartment....
