Haridwar, June 26 -- Mela officer Sonika Singh on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction over the slow progress of National Highway projects linked to preparations for the upcoming Kumbh Mela and directed officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to ensure their completion within the stipulated timeframe. During a review meeting, Sonika assessed the status of several key projects in the Kumbh area, including the Haridwar Bypass-Ring Road, the Haridwar spur of the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor, the Haridwar-Nagina route and works related to the improvement of major intersections in Haridwar.
