Meerut school owner murdered; wife, 3 others held in snakebite plot
MEERUT, July 19 -- Wife among four people were arrested after a 32-year-old school operator in Meerut was found dead at his rented home in J-Block Colony under the Hastinapur police station area on Friday morning, said police on Saturday.
According to police, Atul Kumar Panwar was allegedly murdered by his wife, Damini, her lover, Tushar, a bus driver at Atul's school. Police said the duo first sedated Atul with sleeping pills before allegedly using snakes to bite him while he was asleep and staging the murder to appear as a death caused by a snakebite. Two snake charmers, identified as Sonu and Uday Kumar, who allegedly assisted in executing the murder, have also been arrested in connection with the case. P7...
