Meerut cops rescue two minor boys who left home
Meerut, Aug. 25 -- Two minor children, aged 11 and seven, left their home in Meerut's Hastinapur area after reportedly being influenced by YouTube videos featuring a "Secret House", prompting a frantic search by their family and police. The children were safely traced and recovered within two hours, police said.
The incident took place on Sunday afternoon in the B-Block area of Hastinapur. According to the police, the two children suddenly left their home at around 1 pm. When they failed to return, their family members searched the surrounding areas but were unable to locate them. They subsequently informed the Hastinapur police. Following the information, the Hastinapur police and Mission Shakti team launched an immediate search operation. Teams searched possible routes and locations where the children could have gone and questioned people in nearby areas. During the search, police received information that led them to an isolated location near a brick kiln close to Makhdoompur Colony, opposite Sanskar Farm House. The two children were found hiding there and were safely brought back.
According to Circle Officer Pankaj Lawania, preliminary information indicated that the children regularly watched videos related to "Secret House" on YouTube. Influenced by the content, they apparently decided to leave home themselves and hide at an isolated location....
