Matter resolved, CM helpline staff to get pay hike
LUCKNOW, April 4 -- The dispute involving employees of the 1076 CM helpline was resolved after a senior authority of the state intervened, leading to the private operator agreeing to key demands, including a salary hike and improved workplace facilities.
The employees of the helpline had staged a two-day protest (Thursday and Friday) against the company concerned, alleging low wages and poor working conditions. The agitation had affected normal operations, prompting the senior authority to take cognisance of the issue.
After the intervention of the authority, the company management held discussions with the protesting staff and agreed to address their concerns.
Company's senior officials stated that clear directions had been issued to the company to prioritise issues related to employee salaries and facilities.
