Agra, Sept. 26 -- A man accused of having raised funds from the public on the pretext of the illness of his sister, was arrested by the Agra police on Friday. A case was registered at Bah police station of Agra against accused Ajayveer Singh aka Jai Singh Rathore under section 319(2)/318(4)/336(3)/340(2) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 66D of IT Act on September 24 on complaint of Madan Mohan Soni. According to the FIR, Jai Singh Rathore had made an emotional appeal claiming on social media that his 12-year-old sister suffers from Glaucoma or Vitreous hemorrhage and he was facing crises of funds to get her treated in Delhi. The accused gathered funds as needed and thanked all for the generous gesture. On suspicion, Soni cross-checked with the eye hospital concerned in Delhi and the matter was exposed and the accused was arrested....
