Agra, Oct. 8 -- A man opened fire and injured his wife and a man with whom his wife was interacting at a shop in the market of Firozabad on Tuesday night. Both the injured were rushed to hospital and are under treatment. The wife of the injured man lodged an FIR at Firozabad North against the accused. SSP Firozabad Aditya Langhe said that police at Uttar police station in Firozabad got information about a firing incident at Kotla Chungi point at around 9pm on Tuesday. Police reached the spot and found that a man named Rishabh Telang had opened fire on his wife Shipra and one Jitendra alias Sunny, said to be his wife's friend. "Jitendra and Shipra were rushed to hospital and were referred to higher centre in Agra after their condition became serious. The accused husband Rishab Telang was arrested with the help of the public," stated the SSP. "The accused was suspicious of the relationship of the victims. Rishabh and Shipra had a past of disputes and exact facts related to the firing incident are being investigated," said SSP. It has been revealed that Shipra, having strained relations with her husband Rishabh, was living with her parents for the past few months and had gone to meet Jitendra at Kotla Chungi area in Firozabad city market when her husband appeared on the scene and had verbal arguments with Jitendra and opened fire on them.
