Haldwani, Aug. 13 -- A 29-year-old man was arrested in Nainital district with 100.52 grams of smack worth around Rs.30 lakh in the international market, police said on Wednesday. The accused was identified as Vikram Arya from Anandpur in Haldwani's Mukhani area. Haldwani station house officer Vijay Mehta said a police team was checking vehicles near Panchayat Ghar on Tuesday night when they stopped Arya's motorcycle. An FIR against Arya under relevant sections of the NDPS Act was registered against Arya. He was produced before a court on Wednesday and sent to judicial custody, police said. htc...
