Dehradun, Sept. 2 -- Three people were arrested in connection with the rape of a 16-year-old girl at a hotel in Rishikesh, police said The three accused were identified as Sofiyan, Vaibhav Gupta, and Rahul Agarwal. Police said they have also sent a report to the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) recommending cancellation of the licence of the hotel. According to SSP Dehradun Pramendra Dobhal, a complaint was lodged at Rishikesh Kotwali on August 30 alleging that on August 29, Sofiyan, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, lured the complainant's 16-year-old daughter and took her to Hotel Ganga Inn near the Old Railway Station in Rishikesh.
