LUCKNOW, Oct. 18 -- The Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow will remain closed for routine administrative and academic work on October 19 on account of Mahanavami. New outpatient department (OPD) registrations will also remain suspended for the day. However, consultations for patients with prior appointments will continue, and investigations scheduled across departments and previously planned surgeries will proceed as usual, according to an institute notice. Emergency services and the 24-hour laboratory will continue to function as usual, while OPD sample collection services will remain suspended for the day.
