LUCKNOW, Oct. 22 -- The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) will identify and prioritise civic development projects under the 15th Finance Commission and infrastructure fund, focusing on addressing residents' needs and improving basic amenities across the city. Mayor Sushma Kharkwal chaired a meeting at the Smart City office on Wednesday, directing civic departments to assess local requirements and prepare proposals based on public utility and urgency. Officials from the Jalkal, environment, streetlight and engineering departments discussed the development work required in their respective areas. The civic body will compile department-wise proposals before selecting projects for funding, officials said.
