LLB students given BA-LLB question paper in cyber law exam
PRAYAGRAJ, May 15 -- In a major mix-up during the ongoing semester examinations of Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University on Thursday, students appearing for the LLB sixth-semester Cyber Law exam were mistakenly given BA-LLB question papers.
The incident occurred during the second-shift examination held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at several centres, including Mahila Seva Sadan Degree College in Bahraina and other examination centres across Prayagraj.
According to reports, students realised after the question papers were distributed that they had received BA-LLB question papers instead of the LLB Cyber Law paper. They immediately alerted the invigilators, after which the incorrect papers were promptly withdrawn.
The matter was escalated to the university administration, which subsequently sent the correct question paper to all examination centres through the official login system. However, due to the delay, photocopies of the correct question paper had to be made and distributed on-site, causing the examination to begin nearly 45 minutes late at around 12:15 pm.
The matter was reported to the university administration, which then sent the correct question paper to all examination centres through the official login system. However, the delay forced centres to make photocopies of the revised paper and distribute them on-site, resulting in the examination starting nearly 45 minutes late, at around 12:15 pm. As a result, the exam schedule was extended, and answer sheets were collected at 2:15 pm instead of the originally planned 1:30 pm.
Officials suggest that the BA-LLB question paper had mistakenly been placed in the packet meant for the LLB sixth-semester examination, leading to the confusion. Students expressed dissatisfaction over the disruption caused during the examination.
PRSU vice-chancellor Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Singh acknowledged the error and said the BA-LLB question paper had inadvertently been placed inside the LLB exam packet. He added that the correct paper was immediately sent to all centres once the mistake came to light....
