LDA approves 1,392 flats in Anant Nagar scheme
LUCKNOW, June 4 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has approved the construction of 1,392 affordable flats in its Anant Nagar scheme, paving the way for the township's first multi-storey residential housing project. The authority will develop the project, named Aditi Apartment, to cater to the growing demand for affordable housing in the city. LDA vice-chairman Prathamesh Kumar cleared the proposal for the project, which will come up on an 18,411-square metre group housing plot in Adarsh Khand of Anant Nagar. The housing complex will include 412 one-bedroom flats and 980 two-bedroom, taking the total number of residential units to 1,392.
Officials said each 1-BHK flat will have an area of 38.25 square metres, while each 2-BHK flat will cover 50.10 square metres. The authority has planned basement and stilt parking facilities with capacity for 545 four-wheelers.
The project will feature five residential towers surrounded by extensive green spaces. LDA will develop nearly 7,555 square metres as parks and green belts, ensuring that most flats overlook landscaped areas. Officials said the design focuses on providing residents with a better living environment and open spaces within the housing complex.
LDA chief engineer Manvendra Singh said the project will also include high-speed lifts, rainwater harvesting systems, power backup, stormwater drainage facilities, pedestrian pathways and community spaces....
