LUCKNOW, Aug. 14 -- Landowners contributing 10 acres or more to the Lucknow Development Authority's (LDA) Wellness City through land pooling will get 50% of their undeveloped plots near the upcoming Green Corridor, giving them access to one of the project's most strategically located stretches, according to an LDA press release. The development authority has decided to reserve land along the corridor for such land contributors as it accelerates work on the 485-hectare Wellness City between Sultanpur Road and Kisan Path. The LDA has received land-pooling proposals covering nearly 200 hectares so far. It has already allotted 125 developed plots to land contributors through a lottery and plans to allot around 200 more plots through another lottery next month. The Wellness City will come up across Bakkas, Malukpur Dhakwa, Chaurahia, Chaurasi, Dularamau, Noorpur Behata and Mastemau villages. The LDA plans to develop it as a medical hub with super-speciality hospitals, a medical college, diagnostic centres, a Vipassana centre and meditation facilities. The LDA will connect four major roads of the Wellness City to the 6.5-km-long, 24-metre-wide Green Corridor to improve access to the project. The authority is also developing roads ranging from 24 metres to 60 metres wide inside the project. The proposed city lies around 500 metres from the Purvanchal Expressway....
