LUCKNOW, Sept. 6 -- The Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute (KSSSCI), Lucknow, and AIIMS Rae Bareli signed an MoU on Saturday to jointly expand cancer services, develop technologies for early detection and treatment, conduct clinical and community-based research, and facilitate faculty and expertise exchange. The MoU was signed by KSSSCI director prof Madan Lal Brahma Bhatt and AIIMS Rae Bareli executive director and CEO Prof Amita Jain. The institutions will undertake joint oncology research, focusing on advanced solutions and improving access to tertiary cancer care. The collaboration will also cover education, training, innovation and exchange programmes for faculty, scientists and researchers. They will explore community-based programmes focused on cancer prevention, early diagnosis and healthcare services.
