Kolkata, Oct. 27 -- An 18-year-old man, his father and his friend were allegedly held at gunpoint and paraded naked in the Sarsuna area of south-east Kolkata by the family of a 13-year-old girl, objecting to an alleged relationship, police said on Monday, adding that the girl's parents and her uncle have been arrested. According to a police officer, the incident happened on Sunday night when the man and his friend went to the Basundhara Part area during Lakshmi Puja to meet the girl, when they were allegedly locked up by the uncle, who then summoned the man's father over the phone. "The 18-year-old and the minor girl have known each other for several months. The girl's family objected to their relationship. On Sunday, the girl's uncle, who works for online delivery companies, allegedly held a pistol at the young man, his father and his friend and threatened to kill them. The three were allegedly assaulted," an officer probing the incident said, on condition of anonymity. "The young man's father alleged that the uncle asked him to shoot his son with the pistol or stab him with a knife that had heated over an oven. When the father refused to do either, all three were made to strip and walk naked on the main road," the officer added.
