Kaushambi youth arrested over alleged objectionable post on PM
PRAYAGRAJ, July 24 -- A young man from Kaushambi district was arrested after allegedly posting objectionable remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media amid ongoing protests over the NEET paper leak issue.
According to police, on July 21, Lavkush Sonkar, a resident of Shahzadpur village under the Kokhraj police station area, uploaded a post on social media platforms, including Facebook and X. Police alleged that the post contained objectionable comments concerning the Prime Minister and his mother.
A joint team of the Kada Dham police station and the Special Operations Group (SOG) recovered a stolen Bolero and arrested three members of an interstate vehicle theft gang. The accused were allegedly transporting the stolen vehicle to Bihar, where they planned to sell it after altering its engine and chassis numbers.
The Bolero had been stolen on July 13 from the parking area near the Hanuman Ghat barrier at the Kada Dham Shaktipeeth.
The arrested accused were identified as Pradeep Kumar Mishra, a resident of Shivni Ka Pura village in Pratapgarh district, Mohd Shahjahan, a resident of Turk Purwa in Buxar district, Bihar and Anup Sinha, a resident of Itarhi town in Buxar district, Bihar....
