VARANASI, Sept. 13 -- Champat Rai, former general secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Ayodhya, visited Kashi on Saturday and said the city offers profound inner peace and spiritual enrichment. Rai visited Narsingh Math at Manikarnika Ghat, where he paid obeisance at the Jivit Samadhi of Yogiraj Swami Narsingh Bharati Maharaj. He later visited Shri Trikoteshwar Mahadev and Saint Dnyaneshwar. While walking through the lanes of Kashi, Rai described it as a spiritual city that bestows immense bliss. He said one is fortunate to hear Vedic mantras and glimpse enlightened saints in the city. Rai said Kashi holds immense significance from religious, cultural and historical perspectives. He said a visit to the city offers spiritual peace and knowledge and provides an opportunity to recognise one's inner energy.
