LUCKNOW, June 17 -- The Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam (MVVNL) has suspended a junior engineer and terminated the services of two contractual employees after they were allegedly caught demanding bribes for providing an electricity connection. The action followed the circulation of a viral video, prompting MVVNL Managing Director Riya Kejriwal to order an inquiry. Based on the probe findings, junior engineer Rishinath Goswami was suspended for allegedly demanding Rs.2 lakh, while contractual employees Avnish Kumar Yadav and Ashutosh Yadav were blacklisted and dismissed for allegedly seeking Rs.5 lakh....
