ITDA probes malware attack on govt websites
Dehradun, Aug. 3 -- Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) of Uttarakhand government has launched a probe into the malware attack that disrupted multiple state government websites on Saturday, officials said.
According to ITDA director Alok Pandey, the malware affected eight government websites, including the Chief Minister's Relief Fund portal. As a precautionary measure, the affected websites were taken offline and restored within a few hours.
"The malware attack affected eight websites, including the CM Relief Fund portal. We immediately shut down the affected websites to prevent further impact and restored them within around three hours," he said.
He credited the swift recovery to the recovery infrastructure created after the October 2024 ransomware attack. htc...
