LUCKNOW, Sept. 12 -- Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly speaker Satish Mahana on Friday apprised Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, Azarel Ernesta of India's robust democratic traditions and the excellent legislative practices of the UP legislative assembly. Mahana, who is on a tour to Seychelles, said, "India is the world's largest democracy where democratic institutions are continuously strengthening based on public participation, dialogue and constitutional values."
