Jaipur, Sept. 7 -- A nursing staff member at a private hospital in Jaipur has been arrested for allegedly molesting a young woman while she was undergoing treatment, police said on Sunday. According to a complaint lodged by the woman's father, she developed stomach pain on Friday afternoon and was taken to a hospital near her home. Doctors advised that she be admitted.The complainant alleged that the nursing staff member administered a sedative while putting her on an intravenous drip that night, following which she lost consciousness. After regaining consciousness the next morning, she suspected that she had been sexually assaulted. The woman told her family that the accused also threatened her when she protested. The family subsequently approached Mansarovar police and an FIR was registered. "The accused has been arrested and the woman's statement has been recorded," Mansarovar SHO Satish Chand told HT.HTC...
