Hindu outfit files police complaint against Rahul
LUCKNOW, May 22 -- The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has filed a police complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at the Hazratganj Police Station over his alleged remarks targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh during a public meeting in Raebareli on Wednesday.
According to the complaint submitted on Thursday, the organisation alleged that Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a gathering on May 20, used the word "traitors" while referring to Modi, Shah and the RSS, "hurting the sentiments of millions associated with them".
The complaint was submitted by the organisation's national spokesperson Shishir Chaturvedi. In the complaint, he said that he was watching Gandhi's speech on television around 3pm on May 20 when the alleged remarks were made, terming the language "unparliamentary" and "defamatory".
Police said they have received the complaint and an inquiry will be conducted before further action....
