Health dept launches probe into nurses' home dist transfer
LUCKNOW, June 11 -- The health department has begun a probe into alleged anomalies in the transfer of nurses to their home district.
According to the primary probe, the health directorate has checked the permanent address/home district of each of the 10 nurses said to have been transferred to their home district, according to a complaint filed by the Rajkiya Nurses Sangh Uttar Pradesh (RNS UP), a body of government nurses in Uttar Pradesh. The director-general, medical health, has submitted a letter to the special secretary, medical section, stating the home district of each of the nurses in question.
This has been done, going by the documents submitted by the nurses. "There is an anomaly; the home address submitted with the UPPSC and that with the health directorate are different," said Ashok Kumar, general secretary, RNS UP. Kumar wrote a letter to the chief minister on Wednesday stating the difference in home addresses....
