LUCKNOW, April 2 -- Qualifier Sunil Kumar from Haryana secured a spot in the singles semi-finals of the inaugural KSM Yunus AITA Prize Money Tennis Tournament with an upset victory over top seeded Atharva Sharma from Maharashtra. On the other hand, Eklavya Singh and Anshuman Singh from Uttar Pradesh were eliminated following their defeats. Players displayed exceptional form during the matches held on Wednesday. In the doubles quarterfinals, the duo of Atharva Sharma and Anoop Mahadev advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Sarthak Soodan and Amrit in a super tie-break 4-6, 7-5, 10-6. Meanwhile, Vansh Bisht and Mukil Ramanan defeated Rajeshwar and Panshul Oboveja 6-2, 6-3.
