Governor stresses timely treatment for schoolchildren
LUCKNOW, May 27 -- Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday reviewed the report of health camps organised at Adarsh Madhyamik Vidyalayas and directed that children diagnosed with illnesses should receive proper treatment at King George's Medical University. During a review meeting at Jan Bhawan, the governor examined the health screening reports of students. Doctors from eight departments of KGMU had screened 394 children during camps held between April 21 and 27.
Patel directed Jan Bhawan Hospital and concerned officials to ensure proper coordination for the children's treatment.
