LUCKNOW, May 23 -- Gomti Task Force of the 137 Composite Ecological Task Force Battalion (Territorial Army) 39 Gorkha Rifles organised a biodiversity awareness and wetland conservation programme at CG City Wetland in Lucknow on Friday to mark the International Day for Biological Diversity, 2026. Held in collaboration with the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) and Turtle Survival Alliance Foundation India (TSA), the programme was organised under the theme "Acting Locally for Global Impact". Students of Lucknow Public College, Sahara Estate in Jankipuram, local residents and environmental volunteers participated in the event.
