Flag hoisting ceremonies of six sub-temples to begin on April 2
Ayodhya, March 23 -- Following the flag hoisting on the main spire of the Ram Temple and other major temples in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, preparations are now underway for similar ceremonies at the remaining six sub-temples, said Champat Rai, the general secretary of Ram Mandir Trust after a meeting held on Saturday.
He stated that the temples where flag hoisting will take place include those dedicated to Surya, Bhagwati, Shivling, Ganpati, Sheshavatar and Hanuman.
According to Rai, the flag hoisting on the spire of the Hanuman temple will be carried out on Hanuman Jayanti (April 2). The ceremonies for the other five sub-temples will be conducted over eight days on March 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 and 31.
He also clarified that large crowds will not be permitted at these events. The ceremonies will take place in the presence of a limited number of people.
Each ceremony will include approximately 50 saints, 50 householders and around 200 individuals, including engineers and workers....
