LUCKNOW, Aug. 19 -- Five people, including three siblings, were injured after a component of a giant wheel reportedly broke during the Indira Nagar Sawan Mahotsav in Ismailganj on Tuesday night, triggering panic among visitors. According to the injured and their relatives, the incident occurred around 8pm when the group boarded the ride. They alleged that a component broke while the ride was operating and struck 14-year-old Ankita Singh in the face. Her siblings Surya and Nancy were also injured. The injured were taken to a private hospital, where three were discharged after first aid. Ankita and Nancy remained under treatment. Police, however, said the swing itself did not break. Ghazipur SHO RK Maurya said a seating rod had broken and no one fell from the ride. Police said all rides were stopped and an investigation was underway....
