VARANASI, June 21 -- A fire broke out at an MDPE pipe stock warehouse located behind a CNG station in the Karkhiyanv area on Friday night. The warehouse is within the jurisdiction of the Phulpur police station. Eleven fire tenders from Varanasi and Jaunpur were pressed into action to control the blaze. Chief fire officer Anand Singh Rajpoot stated that the operation took three hours to extinguish the flames. No casualties were reported during the incident. However, the pipes stored in the warehouse were reduced to ashes.
