The accused have been booked under several stringent provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including attempt to murder, rioting, wrongful confinement, assault, and criminal intimidation.
The incident reportedly took place inside the chamber of advocate Aamir Khan on Friday. According to the allegations, a client and his associates were confined, brutally assaulted, and attacked with bricks within the court premises itself.

Sher Khan claimed the attackers repeatedly struck his head in an attempt to kill him, adding that during the assault, the accused allegedly shouted threats, saying the victims should be killed so that "they never dare to mess with lawyers again."
The victims further claimed that some individuals present inside the court complex recorded videos of the incident, which later helped identify several of the accused advocates.
Police rushed to the scene after receiving the information. The injured were rescued and taken to the police station before being sent for medical examination.
Based on the complaint, police registered a case under BNS Sections 191(2) for rioting and violence, 115(2) for voluntarily causing hurt, 127(2) for wrongful confinement, 352 for abuse and provocation to disturb peace, 351(3) for criminal intimidation involving threats to life or grievous injury, and 109(1) relating to attempt to murder.
