PRAYAGRAJ, May 21 -- A 26-year-old man was killed and his eight-year-old son seriously injured after a truck hit their motorcycle on the Prayagraj-Banda highway on Tuesday night under Ghoorpur police station limits. Police said the deceased, Rajkumar Dwivedi alias Monu Dwivedi, a resident of Pachkhara village, had gone to a roadside dhaba with his son Shiv Shankar Dwivedi for dinner. After returning to the roadside and preparing to leave on their motorcycle, a truck allegedly rammed into them and then fled the site. Rajkumar died on the spot, while his son sustained critical injuries. Family members first rushed the child to Prayagraj and later shifted him to Varanasi for advanced treatment, where he remains under medical care....
