LUCKNOW, Aug. 12 -- Falcon Club produced a commanding performance to rout Tektro Football (A) 5-0 in the second semi-final of the District Football League 2026, at the Chowk Stadium here on Tuesday, booking their place in the final with clinical efficiency. From the opening whistle Falcon imposed their tempo, and Sanjay opened the scoring within two minutes with a composed finish that caught TFA's defence flat-footed. He doubled the lead in the 17th minute, converting a quick counter that highlighted Falcon's sharp transition play and left the visitors chasing shadows. TFA (A) struggled to gain possession in midfield as Falcon's pressing and quick passing controlled the game's rhythm. Gagandeep struck in the 21st minute to make it 3-0 before half-time, latching onto a clipped through ball and slotting home with confidence. The first half ended with Falcon firmly in command, their movement off the ball creating repeated problems for TFA's backline. Early in the second half Falcon continued to dominate as Aman extended the advantage in the 28th minute with a well-placed effort after sustained pressure down the flank. Gagandeep completed his brace in the 62nd minute, heading in from a perfectly timed cross to seal the emphatic victory. TFA (A) offered little threat after the third goal, and their attempts to salvage pride were repeatedly snuffed out by Falcon's organised defence and controlled possession.
