AGRA, July 9 -- A 42-year-old businessman from Etah district has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl and posses- sing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), police said on Tuesday. The arrest followed a joint investigation by the Cyber Crime Police Station and the Cyber Cell of Etah Police after receiving a tip through the National Cen- tre for Missing and Exploited Children (Ncmec) CyberTipl -ine on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP). Based on the complaint, police registered Case No. 09/2026 under Sections 65(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (rape of a girl below 16 years), Sections 5, 6 and 14 of the protection of children from sexual offences Act (POCSO), and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act at the Cyber Crime Police Station in Etah.
