PRAYAGRAJ, April 16 -- In view of the intense summer heat and to provide relief and convenience to passengers, the North Central Railway (NCR) Bharat Scouts and Guides, Prayagraj, on Wednesday launched a Summer Relief Drinking Water Service Campaign at Prayagraj Junction and Subedarganj stations.
The initiative has been undertaken in the spirit of public service under the guidance of the general manager of North Central Railway.
"The campaign aims to ensure that passengers have access to clean drinking water during the peak summer months," said Amit Malviya, senior PRO, NCR.
The service was formally inaugurated at Subedarganj Station, Platform No. 1, at 10.30 am by Ayushi Bhatnagar, vice-president, NCR Bharat Scouts and Guides. Simultaneously, similar arrangements were initiated at Prayagraj Junction to ensure wider passenger coverage.
The campaign will continue for the next two months.
Scouts and Guides units across Prayagraj district will extend the service at major stations, including Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Subedarganj, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra and Tundla, ensuring maximum outreach and benefit to passengers....
