PRAYAGRAJ, June 4 -- Pratapgarh district magistrate has ordered the attachment of assets belonging to three individuals, including Antu-based history-sheeter Massan Ali and his brother, under the provisions of the Gangsters Act. The action targets properties allegedly acquired through criminal activities. The case stems from a shooting incident in the Biharganj market. Following a detailed hearing, district magistrate Abhishek Pandey ordered the immediate attachment of two movable assets belonging to Massan, a resident of Aam Mau Kamraha under Antu police station area, valued at Rs 8.30 lakh, including a motorcycle and a car. Six other movable assets linked to Massan, who currently faces 12 serious criminal cases, had already been attached. In the same case, the DM also ordered the attachment of three movable assets belonging to Massan's brother, Alim alias Monu, worth approximately Rs 17 lakh, including one Scorpio and two Bolero vehicles. Alim has five serious criminal cases registered against him.
