Rudrapur, Aug. 23 -- Nainital district administration has cancelled the Scheduled Caste (SC) certificate of a homeopathic doctor following an inquiry into allegations that she obtained government employment using an invalid caste certificate, officials said. The doctor, Manisha Kayath, is currently posted on contract at a government hospital. "A scrutiny committee was constituted to inquire into the SC certificate following a complaint. Instructions have been issued to the tehsildar to seize the certificate that was obtained wrongfully. Letters have also been sent to the concerned authorities for further action after disposal of the case," said Nainital district magistrate Lalit Mohan Rayal.
