Diploma engineers to present views before 8th Pay Commission
LUCKNOW, June 23 -- Office-bearers of the All India Federation of Diploma Engineers (AIFDE) will meet the 8th Pay Commission officials who will be in Lucknow on June 22 and 23.
ND Dwivedi, AIFDE national president, said: "We will present our views on issues such as salary, allowances, leave, advances, bonuses, cadre management, career progression, retirement benefits, other facilities, and the restoration of the old pension scheme."
"Furthermore, the federation will present its stance on various allowances, such as dearness, educational, additional work, deputation, house rent, outstanding service, travel, daily, city, vehicle and night duty allowances," he added.
"The federation will also offer suggestions concerning employee advances (such as for house construction and vehicle purchase) and various facilities and leave provisions, LTC, group insurance, ex gratia payments, GPF, and compassionate appointments," Dwivedi said.
Additionally, the federation will present its views on performance pay, bonuses, incentives, and transfer policies, as well as offer suggestions regarding cadre management, career progression, and various post-retirement benefits.
Moreover, the federation will strongly advocate for the restoration of the old pension scheme....
