DGP Krishna leads UPP's 10 lakh plantation drive
LUCKNOW, July 13 -- Uttar Pradesh director general of police (DGP) Rajeev Krishna on Sunday planted a sapling at the police headquarters in Gomti Nagar Extension as part of the state's plantation drive. Under the campaign, the Uttar Pradesh Police planted 10 lakh saplings in a single day, aiming to set a new benchmark in environmental conservation.
DGP Rajeev Krishna urged police officers and personnel to actively participate in the plantation campaign in line with the state government's vision and help turn it into a people's movement.
Several senior police officers, including heads of the police headquarters, government railway police, economic offences wing, and additional directors general in charge of law and order, logistics, human rights, crime and traffic, fire services, and administration, also participated in the plantation drive at the Police Headquarters campus....
