Lucknow, June 22 -- National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has initiated immediate repair work on the Ghatampur flyover along the Kanpur-Kabrai section of National Highway-34 after cracks were detected in portions of the deck slab and reinforcing steel bars became visible at certain locations. The issue came to light following reports of structural damage on the Hamirpur-to-Kanpur carriageway. Responding swiftly, NHAI Project Director Pankaj Yadav conducted an on-site inspection along with technical experts and representatives of executing agency, directing that repair work begin without delay.
