Cover all farmers under Farmer Registry, says Adityanath
Lucknow, April 2 -- : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that the Farmer Registry be implemented across the state on a large scale, ensuring that all farmers are registered on priority.
He instructed that special camps be organised at every gram panchayat at the earliest to connect farmers with the Farmer Registry so that no eligible farmer is left out of this system.

He further directed allied departments such as horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, cooperatives and minor irrigation to coordinate with the agriculture department for the use of the farmer identity card in their respective schemes and complete the necessary preparations by May 31, 2026, so that a uniform system can be implemented across all departments.
With this system's implementation, the scheme's benefits will reach farmers transparently, and reviewing cases where a single beneficiary receives repeated benefits will also become easier, he added....
