LUCKNOW, Aug. 22 -- The Centre has betrayed the OBC and backward communities by excluding a separate OBC column from the caste census and this should make the BJP allies from the OBC communities rethink their strategy in Uttar Pradesh, said Anil Jaihind, chairman of All India Congress Committee OBC Wing, on Friday. "The OBC allies including Anupriya Patel, Sanjay Nishad and OP Rajbhar also need to focus upon the fact that centre betrayed the entire OBC. The Government said in Parliament that second round of caste census will have column for OBC, which didn't come in the notification. This amounts to betrayal with the entire OBC and backward caste people that number over 52 percent in country's population," said Jaihind addressing a press conference along with Rajendra Pal Gautam, UP Congress incharge, and Manoj Yadav, UP Congress' OBC wing president.
