LUCKNOW, Aug. 14 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the fourth season of the UP T20 League at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Friday. UP T20 League Governing Council chairman Sanjay Kapoor met the chief minister on Thursday and formally invited him to the opening ceremony. Captains of all six teams were also present and extended the invitation. The CM accepted the request and confirmed he would inaugurate the tournament. Speaking after the meeting, Kapoor said the interaction was highly successful and that the chief minister had agreed to open the league. He added that the CM encouraged the players and assured them of his full support. Governing council member Sanjeev Kumar Singh was also present during the meeting. BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla will attend the inauguration ceremony as special guest. The colourful event will feature live performances by Shankar Mahadevan and Jasmine Sandlas, along with a drone show and laser light display. Following the ceremony, the season will begin with a match between defending champions Kashi Rudras and Meerut Mavericks....
