CM sets 15-day deadline for grievance redressal
GORAKHPUR, June 4 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed officials to ensure that all public grievances are resolved within 15 days and that feedback is obtained from complainants after redressal to verify whether their issues have actually been addressed.
Interacting with nearly 200 visitors during the second day of Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath temple, the chief minister heard complaints related to revenue disputes, law and order, welfare schemes, land matters and medical assistance. He instructed officials to act swiftly on every genuine grievance and warned against negligence or unnecessary delays.
"Every complaint should be resolved within 15 days. Officials must also take feedback from complainants to ensure the issue has actually been addressed," he said.
Adityanath stressed that no eligible person should be deprived of justice or assistance and assured those seeking financial help for medical treatment that deserving cases would receive government support as per prescribed procedures.Earlier, while reviewing development projects in Gorakhpur, he directed officials to complete ongoing works before the onset of the monsoon while maintaining quality standards.
