LUCKNOW, April 26 -- The Centre has appointed Prof KV Raju, economic advisor to UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, as a full-time member of NITI Aayog, said a press statement issued by state government on Saturday. The appointment followed approval from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with Prof Raju, several experts have been appointed as full-time members of NITI Aayog, effective from the date they assume charge, the statement said. Ashok Kumar Lahiri has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog, while Rajiv Gauba, Prof. KV Raju, Gobardhan Das, Abhay Karandikar and M Srinivas have been made full-time members.
