CM orders swift redressal of grievances at Janata Darshan
GORAKHPUR, May 18 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday directed officials to ensure the quick and fair disposal of public complaints, stressing the need for a responsive and welfare-oriented approach while addressing the grievances of needy citizens.
During the Janata Darshan held in Gorakhpur, the chief minister met nearly 150 people and reiterated that resolving every citizen's grievance remains the government's commitment.
Interacting with people from different districts for the second consecutive day, he instructed officials to ensure the prompt and sensitive resolution of all complaints without discrimination.
He said that every eligible person should receive the benefits of government welfare schemes, adequate medical treatment must be ensured for the needy, and strict action should be taken against land mafia and influential encroachers.
Referring applications to the concerned departments, the chief minister directed officials to ensure the speedy and satisfactory resolution of grievances and assured people that effective action would be taken in every case.
During the Janata Darshan, a woman sought financial assistance for her daughter's marriage, citing poor economic conditions. Informing her about the state government's Chief Minister Mass Marriage Scheme, under which financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh is provided per couple, he directed officials to complete the necessary formalities so that her daughter could avail the benefit of the scheme.
Several others appealed for financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses. Assuring them of government support, the chief minister said that no person's treatment would stop due to a lack of funds. He instructed officials to immediately prepare estimates for advanced medical treatment for needy patients so that financial assistance could be released without delay.
Earlier in the morning, CM Yogi directed officials to ensure proper care of cattle amid the rising summer heat. He visited the cowshed at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, where he fed jaggery to the cattle and reviewed arrangements for their care during the summer season.
"He instructed the cowshed workers to ensure proper care and protection of the cattle in view of the intense heat," officials said.
Earlier in the day, he offered prayers at the shrine of Guru Gorakhnath and later paid respects at the samadhi of his guru, the late Mahant Avaidyanath, before touring the temple premises....
