CM condoles death of former minister
Meerut, Sept. 16 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday visited Bulandshahr to attend a condolence meeting for former BJP MLA and minister of state Anil Sharma, who died recently following a prolonged illness, and met his family members at a private farmhouse in Shikarpur.
Yogi reached the Ranau Avantika Farm House on Dibai Road in Shikarpur around 3pm and paid floral tribute to the late leader at a condolence meeting organised in his memory.
The chief minister subsequently met Sharma's family and offered his condolences. He spent around 20 minutes with the family.
During the interaction, Yogi advised Sharma's son Kush to remain active in the constituency and work among the people. "Remain active in the constituency and continue working hard," he told him.
Sharma had been elected MLA four times from the Khurja and Shikarpur assembly constituencies of Bulandshahr district. He was regarded as a popular leader in the area and was known for his association with people in his constituency....
