GORAKHPUR, June 3 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that Chiluatal is not anyone's personal fiefdom but a public asset belonging to society. He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs.20.39 crore aimed at transforming the natural lake into a major tourism destination on the lines of Ramgarh Tal. Addressing a gathering on the occasion, the chief minister said that attempts to encroach upon public resources will not be tolerated. "Chiluatal is not anyone's personal fiefdom. It belongs to society. Public assets are meant for public welfare, and the government is committed to ensuring that every citizen benefits from them," he asserted.
